What I find odd, is that CBS would cancel a show with a primary ethnic cast, with a woman of color in the lead and just end it abruptly with high ratings and blame it on cost? If it wasn’t for how good NVIS: Hawai’i was, I wouldn’t have gone back to visit and watch the other franchises outside of the mother show! If there was a significant cost issue, I would imagine there could have been a way work with the acting staff and production to help manage cost and keep a really great show on the air.
