See AllI'm Convinced The D&D 2024 Player's Handbook Has Taken Rulings Over Rules Too Far
this reads so conceited to me lmao. "DMs are forced to homebrew rules and stay consistent to those rules"?? its a game. the whole point is to just play it in a fun way. if keeping track of particular rules is that much of an issue for you, play a different edition.
i don't know why we can't say "i don't like it" and move on. if it's not for you, it's not for you. some groups were really struggling with DMs getting awful and pushback for not following the rules. why can we not just realize there's pros and cons to every game and you're not 2024 5e's intended target?
just feels like we're being picky for the sake of being frustrated. why do people care so much? there's so many ttrpgs. you can't satisfy everyone and there will never be a "perfect" ttrpgs. if you don't like it, make your own system.
