See AllThe Apothecary Diaries Just Broke a Major Rule, But That's Why the Anime Is So Good
Every good show gives the audience time with other key characters.
Are you still upset about Henry Cavill's The Witcher recast?
Unfortunately it's the nature of showbiz. I dont think anyone likes when a character is recast after 3 iterations. *cough* Dumbledore *cough* .. The daughter in Medicine Woman, the Older daughter in Roseanne.. I can the jarring experience of a new person playing a known character all the way back to my childhood.
It's hard to transition and get used to someone new. But what if Liam had been cast first? Would we still be meh about the casting choice? Maybe. Liam is a little cutey patooty baby face, he doesnt seem very "hard lived" or rugged and I personally can't see him as Geralt but he's a decent actor so we'll just have to watch and see. I loved Cavils ion for the content but ultimately his ion created the rift, He signed on for something that the writers and directors werent delivering. His expectations of the role were not met. They changed too much from the OG content, apparently werent familiar with the OG content and it didn't sit right with him. He made his feelings clear on it and the work environment wasn't working for anyone anymore. Sad. He will be missed.
I also haven't heard of audiences not liking Cavil in the role. That's a thing? Someone who knows and loves the content and can fit and look the part is a problem for some audiences? Weird.
The Lord Of The Rings Movies Accidentally Created An Arwen Problem That Doesn't Exist In The Books
You could pose the same problem against Glorfindel, who also didn't have much of a role in the books. Jackson could have left it unchanged and the audience would still feel he was set up to be more prominent to the plot and characters than he ends up. Arwen at least is important to Aragon and he's a main character so I felt it was a justified change.
"It's Like I'm Being Threatened": The Apothecary Diaries Creator Has Something to Say About the Anime's Romance
I love the realistic natural pacing of these character's connection and growing fondness and respect for one another. Maomao is pragmatic and self preserving, she wouldn't be throwing herself into this, she maintains a level head and sense of denial i think as a form of defense. She's not stupid, and has considerations for who Jinshi is but won't even let herself think too much on it, because they could be dangerous for her. It's none of her business, and so far no one has made it her business. A women in her position would not assume anything. She is the poison taster, her life is not protected, she is in all rights a servant, though a highly respected one. So the pacing makes sense. She is winning the heart of this man little by little with her intellect not her body and political connections and that feels great. And he is also still coming to with his own desires and responsibilities which play it's role in the pacing. The scene in the cave was hot! Still thinking about it.
Baldur's Gate 3: Mod Manager Guide (How To Fix Common Problems)
I was having issues too, and I reinstalled the game. It didn't work. I had to completely remove everything, the script extender, the Larian studio's Mod folder in the %AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods folder, heck I got rid of that entire folder. Then I reinstalled the game and finally all was clear and ready to begin anew.
I'm new to using the in game MM and would like to so i can align certain mods up for multiplayer, like unlocked party limits.
I'm bothered there is no load order option. There are 3 mods that address this - Mod Manager Fixes, Mod Manager Fixes & Tweaks (not to be used together) and Mod Manager Plus (claims can be used with the above) . All 3 of these mods claim and show images of having implemented a load order button. No such functionality exists for any of them.
I wonder if it might have been a recent game patch? All I could do was report as not working properly.
I know the ingame mod manager is supposed to handle load order, but there are specific mods that list details about their order, why would they put that info in the details if the build in MM does it automatically?
I also am still using some 3rd party mods but dropping the .pak files into the mod folder and enabling them in the games MM, and again would like to have some control about their load order.
Currently my list of installed mods shows every single mod with a #1. Is that how it is normally with no working mod fixers enabled? The mod fixers all show images where the list of installed mods actually lists them off with load order appropriate numbering.
Rey Will Officially Be The Last Skywalker
We're sad in this house the direction the story was taken. Rey as a character is fine, but the story they gave her want good. The first one leaned too heavily on old characters now allowing for this new ensemble to truly shine. Then what we thought would be a new ensemble wasn't? Fynn was just forgotten about after being hyped up in promos as having a more important role. I mean come on, his story was amazing! Kid indoctrinated breaks free of the empires grip? I can think of a dozen cool ways to spin an epic tale out of that alone. It just seems like the writers /creators didn't have any good ideas and went with a copy paste, cookie cutter tale with no substance and that was disappointing to say the least. I think all the characters could have been done better and given their own story not dropped into a franchise to try and sail on thy coat tails of what came before, it left the weak like writers didn't think these new characters could carry the weight of their own movies. That is sad. A lot of weird decisions too, like the girl who kisses Fynn... Why? What even was that other than inappropriate and out of place. Did they just need to fill an Asian actor quota and find some way to work more scream time in for Fynns character? It didn't seem as if professionals wrote this story. And not just from a Star Wars perspective, from the perspective of basic story telling. Star wars has become a cash cow, I can't even keep up with it and most of the content coming out isn't worth my time. No longer special, no longer given attention to detail and good story telling.
