See AllJohn Walker Is The Most Unsympathetic Character In The MCU, But I Kind Of Love It
"Possibly PTSD"? What do you mean possibly? This man has 3 medals of honor, the PTSD is automatic and inherent. It's a sure thing. And why is Walker the most unsympathetic character in the MCU when other characters in the MCU have done far worse? Why is it that people always ignore that he tried to be cooperative, he tried to get along, but Sam and Bucky keeps pushing his buttons and even purposefully mocking him? Why do we not talk about Sam's whole speech about "we can't expect others to step up if we don't meet them half way" yet that is never applied to John? Why is John expected to step up even though Sam and Bucky never even try to meet John halfway? Why is it always hypocrisy? Also John doesn't act like the world owes him something, he's just trying to do his job. If he still remains the most unsympathetic character after Thunderbolts, then this movie failed to make its point stick.
What It Really Takes To Be Captain America: 6 Golden MCU Rules Explained
This article is terribly written and wildly inaccurate, particularly in your comments against John Walker. Claiming that a THREE TIME Medal of Honor recipient can't be imagined to ever willingly sacrifice his life for other people is simply ridiculous, especially when that character literally has demonstrated within the show itself that he would do that. You claim the super soldier serum has corrupted him when he overcomes that corruption by choosing to let go of revenge so that he could save innocent people. This article ignores very key points of John's character and story that one has to wonder if the writer has watched the Falcon and the Winter Soldier with eyes and ears closed.

Good thing Sam isn't pretending to be Steve. He's just Sam taking on the new mantle ed to him. If you can accept a million different Flashes and Green Lanterns and Robins and Ant Mans and Black Panthers, you can accept a new Captain America, especially when Steve gave him that mantle.
