I'm just one person with just one opinion... but they trash this boys character arc... they just need to hold on until they reboot Superman again and bring him back to being a boy... they can rewrite Superman as 28 years old for 75 years, but they can't rewrite Superboy back from being 16? what kind of bozos are running DC these days? this isn't hard why is today's Canon set in stone? we get the new 52 Superman who died (especially the subject where Clark from 1992 comes to take his place as he was hiding this whole time) all these miraculous things can happen but we can't miraculously reboot where superboy's back to being an actual boy... the shame of all this - we've come to the point where we expect DC to do the worst possible thing...

or maybe like Godzilla he's charging up to fight a stronger foe.. as he can't charge up during the night he probably uses solar s.. but all versions of Supermen charge using the Sun... if they get hurt they go to the Sun... but these guesses are a little premature.. my guess is in a world where he can lose to darksied, he is not going to be Superman prime strength level anyway... they nerfed him already by bringing him in as fully grown out of yellow sunlight
