See AllJames Gunn's Superman is 'Fixing' Man of Steel's Biggest Problem, And I Think It's a Huge Mistake
I beg to differ. Hopefully, Gunn's nostalgic approach won't flop all together. Superman was always a complex character. Every rendition struggles with fitting in with humanity and understanding exactly how far they should interfere with our world. Even the Christopher Reeves Superman purposely failed to hide his secret from Lois because Superman shouldn't lie and he was tired of lying to her. The Adventures of Superman cartoon in the 90's depicted him best. He was the strong silent type. He was low key as Clark Kent but none of that clumsy nonsense introduced by the Reeves movie. He was just how Superman would be if he were real. Low key to the point that you wouldn't even know he was there, but there when we need him. The Reeve version also struggled with whether or not to get involved with preventing a nuclear war. He understood just as Spider-Man does that with great power comes great responsibility. It's not pessimism for the sake of being cool. It's showing that ideals and principles are often much higher than the people expected to live by them. Everyone was raised on Earth so that's not what makes him special. Pretending to be like one of us doesn't make him special. Resisting the urge to use your powers for evil and to go a step further to actually use them for good is what makes him Superman.
After The Recent Thunderbolts* Trailer, I'm Convinced The Marvel Movie's Biggest Complaint Will Make It One Of The MCU's Best Films
Bob was in the first two Deadpool movies. 🙄
After Daredevil: Born Again Episode 1, I'm Convinced Marvel Has No Clue What Made The Original Netflix Show So Special (It Wasn't Kingpin)
They aren't absent. We saw what happened to them. Sheesh, some people are so wired that they can't go against their programming..uhh conditioning long enough to realize that there is a difference between new and old. Born Again is not the old DareDevil show. It's a new show about where Matt Murdock's life is now. Just as in real life, sometimes you lose close friends or grow apart. That has happened to Matt and his old friends, so now he must move on. We know how that Matt Murdock functioned, but now we must see how he deals with life without his anchors in Karen and Foggy. Plus there is always the possibility of the resurrection of Electra. If she weren't crazy, she could have been Matt's true love. 🤷
Daredevil's Costume Downgrade In Born Again Makes No Sense After His Intense Bullseye Battle Makes A Mockery Of It
Not necessarily because in She Hulk he has her tailor make the gold and red suit.
Rewatching All 34 Hours Of The Original Daredevil Show Makes Daredevil: Born Again’s Opening Death So, So Much Worse
Yeah, I'm not worried about there being too little Daredevil in it because they will be introducing MCU characters that weren't in the first 3 seasons so it will be a great opportunity for crossovers. Especially since Matt is Spider-Man's lawyer and the Kingpin has already mentioned him. 😇
Star Wars: Anakin Skywalker's 'Father' Finally Revealed
It doesn't make sense that Palpatine would be the one who created Anakin because he literally sent Darth Maul to kill him in the Phantom Menace. Darth Plagueis is likely Anakin's creator and Palpatine likely killed him because he knew that Anakin could replace him one day as Plagueis' apprentice.
