You don't get it. The reason Feyre changed her mind abt having a baby sooner rather than later is bc she almost lost Rhysand. He actually did die but was brought back to life in a similar fashion as Feyre. She was devastated and both swore that they would leave together. So if one dies they both die. Clearly the experience was traumatic enough that she'd change her mind.

It's so obvious you haven't read the books. That's the reason we love them. The whole mate bond being rejected is a book I do not want to read. And I have a feeling I won't be the only one. Since the first time the notion of Elain and Lucien showed up, I have come up with many scenarios as to how they would come together and Azriel's role. I never considered that they wouldn't be end game. There are authors that I'm sure have this sort of plot if that's your thing. But that's not for me. And I hope Sara J. Maas goes with the usual plot if accepting the mate bond.
