Truthfully, it’s like you are not listening to those of us who paid to watch this “franchise” from the beginning. If there’s no Johnny, there’s NO “franchise”. PERIOD. THEY need to WRITE the story how they wish him to portray it and then let him do his thing. There isn’t a Pirates of the Caribbean if there’s no Johnny!!

I wouldn’t have started watching this show if not for Joel (Pascal). Another show with a Zombie/Pandemic storyline was the last thing I was interested in. My Son and I made a deal in which I ask him to watch 1 episode of a particular show and he ask me to watch the 1st episode of this. The character of Joel and the relationship he had with his daughter in ep.1 is what made me watch ep.2. and Pascal’s Joel is what kept me watching. I truly don’t think Season 2 will be as good as Season 1 and with his character gone I don’t know that I’ll cont. to watch.
