See AllWe Hadn't Seen This Awesome Return Of The Jedi Race In 27 Years... & Now They've Turned Up Twice This Year

The Acolyte Brings One Of KOTOR's Darkest Plots Into Star Wars Canon At Last
I agree. Shoehorning in some KOTOR is actually lazy and arrogant in my opinion. Headland knew she was making a product that would not be well received by many in the Star Wars fan base, whom everyone agrees is dominated by men, and thought plugging in something like the bleeding lightsaber or Darth Plagus would win fans over.
I can only hope a consensus is reached to void this show from canon in the same way the JJ Abrams Star Trek movies were removed from that IPs official canon.
Personally I'll never consider this show as anything more than the world's most expensive fan fiction production.

There are so many issues with the writing of this show that It's better to just treat this show as a "What if..." Story.
Bury this show underneath the Christmas special and Ewok movies and never hire Headland for another project.
