It was awesome.
It felt like an homage not just to the franchise, pulling together various bits of the franchise like the old films and cobra Kai and also the weird previous Jackie chan movie, but also Bruce Lee (mentioning the 1 inch punch he made famous), but also Jackie Chan's drunken master, and others. The father being a boxer felt like they might have had that plot line even as an homage to Rocky.
I don't feel like many people reviewing it got that.

2003 is better because it focuses on relationships and the boys feel more realistic and grounded. They're more vulnerable to a scary and complex world.
Brotherhood lacks the emotional weight of 2003 because of that.

I agree with #1 though. Eberron is seriously slept on...
I think Planescape could be #3 for the intersection of worlds, Dark Sun could be #4, provided it skirted some issues, (it still can be done well, and in non-game media) and swap Forgotten Realms for Greyhawk or Mystara for #5, as FR are overplayed and those two would be fresh alternatives.

I felt the opposite. 2024 is definitely trying to make it into a video game with its very mathematical rules and even the preview of the green dragon's reactions are written out as if/then statements rather than choices for DM's
