See AllWhat is the most underrated war movie of all time?
Wholeheartedly agree that the thin Red Line is constantly overlooked love Terrence Malick's work thing about it is how it gives greater insight into the thoughts effects and the individual impressions of the men who experience the trauma of war there's no patriotic flag waving or posturing just the thoughts and responses of the soldiers which keeps it pure another great film is Billy Lynn's Long Half Time Walk an insight of how a soldiers experiences effect them and the resentments they feel towards the overblown celebration and politicizing of their efforts by people who they have no connection to nor have any clue to what they have experienced
