See AllLeon Vance's NCIS Director Role Is Shrinking Because Of 1 Troubling Franchise Trend
I’ve been a devoted watcher of NCIS since Gibbs was first introduced on JAG. Well, I lost interest in Nola due to staff changes, I loved LA and appreciated Hawai’i. Canceling both of those and keeping Sydney, which was ridiculously boring for all eight episodes, makes zero sense. And then to bring back Tony and Ziva, who are long past their prime, and NCIS Origins (What is the relevance of how Jethro became an NCIS agent? Don’t we already know that information?) Is patently absurd. I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep watching the original once Harmon left, but Gary Cole has done an excellent job of stepping into the role. But don’t ask me to watch the yawn fest Origins sounds like it’s going to be, nor do I care about the Tony and Ziva spin off. I want Callen and Sam back! And I want to know what Maggie knows about what’s coming down the pike and what she tells Jane.
