Squid Game Creator & Stars Confirm Some Season 3 Theories Are Correct As They Read Fan Predictions
This is the end to season 2. It’s basically part 1 and part 2. Does it really matter what number the season is labeled with when it tells a continuous story, and only a few months apart? Be thankful they didn’t make us wait years.
Amazon's Fourth Wing TV Show Must Nail One Detail Of Xaden's Character That Too Many Fan Castings Ignore
Naturally. He’s also not African-American either so they need to get that right too. The descriptions don’t fit. All the characters that have very specific descriptions should be cast appropriately, regardless of which race/ethnicity best fits.
The Dark Reason Gi-hun Didn’t Warn The X Team About The Fight In Squid Game Season 2
This feels like a serious oversimplification of the show’s message and Gi-hun’s character… it’s easy to place all the blame on the Front Man and the others running the Squid Game, but saying that Gi-hun doesn’t have blood on his hands because he had the “best intentions” is missing the point entirely. It’s ridiculous to say that sacrifice is necessary to stop the games but he shouldn’t be held responsible for making that choice. That’s not how morality works…. plus it’s not even fully about saving more people in the future. He’s also choosing his personal revenge over saving lives in that moment, and that goes against everything he’s stood for up to this point. Gi-hun is not entirely heroic, just as the Front Man is not entirely villainous… both are complex and human nature can’t be put in such neat little boxes.
Squid Game Season 3's Ending Needs To Avoid Season 2's Finale Mistake (Not Just It Being A Cliffhanger)
Why does everyone complain so much about the finale? Of course it ended on a cliffhanger! All seasons that aren’t the final ones do! It’s how they get people to watch the next one. Plus it was clear that this was only half the story and that season 3 is basically a part 2 of this one. I knew it from the moment I saw how many episodes there were and the first game didn’t start until episode 3. They were trying to give us drama outside of the games, instead of repeating the same formula again. The whole revolt was very reckless, but that’s not out of character for a compulsive gambler like Gi-hun. It was a plan born of desperation and they didn’t have enough information or time to make a more thorough one. Lives were always going to be at risk trying to escape, but the others volunteered. The only time Gi-hun was somewhat out of character was when he was willing to sacrifice players on the X side as cover for their revolt. But that was the whole point of this season. Gi-hun is slipping and In-ho is actively encouraging that break down of his morality to prove his point.
Squid Game Season 3 Introducing 1 Unseen Character Can Finally Debunk A 3-Year-Old Il-Nam Theory For Good
I feel like if Gi-hun was Il-Nam’s son, and was old enough to have had a preference for chocolate milk over plain milk, and got spanked as a child for being “difficult”, and Il-Nam having fond memories of raising him, I feel Gi-hun would have some memory of his father, but perhaps not. As far as the house thing goes as the other comment states, living in the same area once and their houses looking similar does not prove a relationship.
I wouldn’t so readily discount In-ho being his son either. He and Jun-ho are paternal half-brothers and are 16 years apart. It’s quite possible that he raised In-ho with his first wife for a while, then at some point married Jun-ho’s mother and abandoned them either before he was born or soon after. So he didn’t consider Jun-ho his son, hence saying he only had one. Heck he may not have even known his wife was pregnant with him. We don’t know much of the timeline before season 1. Also it’s explicitly wrong that In-ho wasn’t there when Il-nam died. He wasn’t in the exact moment, because Gi-hun was, but he showed up immediately after and shut his eyes. That’s a pretty intimate act. Besides, who says they have to be close in any way to be related? It could, and likely would be, a very strained relationship, but In-ho may be loyal to him regardless. Maybe they were close once and that’s why Il-nam has those fond memories. It’d also lend weight to how In-ho became the Front Man. Because it’s not like there weren’t other game winners to choose from.
There are a few things (mainly their last names) that don’t add up in both cases, but that could be explained by Il-nam having used a fake name during his relationship(s).
Will The Front Man Be Redeemed In Squid Game Season 3?
Redemption doesn’t equal absolution. It’s never too late to make a right choice, even while being held able for the wrong ones.
Disappointed By Front Man's Squid Game Season 2 Twist? Watch This 15-Year-Old K-Drama For A Better Ending
While I was disappointed as well, I’m waiting for Season 3 before judging these character arcs. The story isn’t finished yet. I think In-Ho can be redeemed, but I don’t know whether or not that’s the plan going forward. I can hope though. Still, I have a feeling any redemption is likely to come with a sacrifice. This is Squid Game. It’s probably not going to end happily ever after for everyone. Regardless, whether redeemed or not, I still love In-Ho as a character. Not his actions necessarily, but he makes a compelling villain to be sure.
Squid Game Season 2’s Front Man Vs. Thanos Fight Was Secretly A Callback To This 15-Year-Old Lee Byung-hun & T.O.P K-Drama
In-Ho is a fascinating villain. He’s a tragic character which I love, but even without the sympathetic backstory, his dynamic with Gi-Hun was the best part of the season to me. Thanos was… amusing, at times. I wasn’t sad when he died though.
Who Is The New Masked Officer In Squid Game Season 2? The Front Man’s Replacement Explained
I can see this happening, except for the part about them taking down the Front Man. All the other guards? Sure. They could be pivotal in that. But only Gi-Hun and/or Jun-Ho are taking out In-Ho. Or he’ll take himself out for “losing” or as a redemptive moment. Hard to say which way it’ll go. But only the main protagonist or a personally connected character to the main antagonist in a story can face them at the end. Anything else is anticlimactic.
Squid Game Season 2 Review: Netflix's High-Stakes Epic Takes Its Action To Bold New Heights
I was watching it because of In-Ho. His character is fascinating to me. I love a psychologically complex villain.
Squid Game Season 2: The Front Man's True Intentions In ing The Game & If His Reaction Was Genuine In Six-Legged Race Clarified By Star
While it’s hard to see how anyone could have fun with these games, I actually felt that they all kind of were in the second game. At least the main teams who were doing pretty well. It wasn’t just In-Ho. That game definitely had a strong sense of camaraderie to it, even from the spectators towards whoever was playing. So honestly I took it as humanizing him rather than making him more twisted, and that made his inevitable betrayal more tragic, even if I saw it coming. Part of me wanted him to choose to stick with the players. But that’ll make the conflict between him and Gi-Hun in season 3 even more interesting.
In-Ho was definitely mes on purpose though, even if the rest of his reactions were genuine. I think part of him wanted to be who he was pretending to be, which might have been what he was like prior to becoming the Front Man.
Move Over, Shadow: Sonic the Hedgehog Has a Better Rival By His Side These Days
Jet sounds like the same character as Sonic but in bird form. Their dynamic doesn’t sound interesting at all. Shadow and Metal Sonic are far more interesting rivals to Sonic. Also, Shadow is Sonic’s equal in speed (and technically he’s superior because of all of his other abilities and the fact that he matches Sonic with limiter rings on). But rivals like that are often nerfed whenever needed to keep the protagonist on top.
Squid Game Season 2 Makes Me Want One Spinoff Series More Than Season 3
Yes!!!! I would be so in for this!!!! I was thinking how much I wanted a prequel spin-off after watching the new season 2! For all the reasons you listed. Great minds think alike :).
Squid Game Season 3’s Most Exciting Game Has Already Been Revealed
I doubt it’s just going to be a variation on RLGL considering that it’s in the middle of the same Game. Why do that twice in one week? Maybe this Jack and Jill game. It needs to be different though. Still, so far nothing beats the Glass Bridge for me. Also an icon part of the series.
Live-Action Metal Sonic Looks All But Inevitable After This Sonic 3 Tease And Is The Perfect Villain For The Sequel
Metal Sonic is my second favorite antagonist after Shadow (who is more of an anti-hero in most cases). I think what makes him so deadly is that he has no morals, and therefore holds nothing back. Shadow can also match or even exceed Sonic, and that’s with his inhibitor rings on. His potential as the Ultimate Lifeform is never fully explored, but is theoretically unlimited, especially with the Chaos Emeralds. He doesn’t tap into that often though because he doesn’t want to destroy everything and everyone. Usually. Metal Sonic though has no such self-imposed limitations. So while I think Shadow is the most powerful, Metal Sonic is the most dangerous.
Why Professor X Is Now Considered a Villain in X-Men Lore
As a response to the comment below mine, they haven’t written Magneto as a victim not responsible for his actions. He faced his many demons in death and is atoning now for his past. But they’re not afraid to examine how he’s not only a villain either. That he’s actually heroic at his core, and did terrible things in his anger and pain, and is not trying to excuse them. But be better instead because that’s all we can do.
But as for Xavier, yeah, while I’ve always seen him as flawed, they took that way too far… this isn’t the Xavier I choose to see as canon. Those writers can do what they want, but it’s not the only continuity out there.
Also can we stop calling them “evil mutants”. It’s highly reductive. There are only an extreme few characters in general, mutant or not, that are actually evil.
