It was unreasonable to expect the Defenders or Spider-Man to be sitting in Josie's at the end. It would've been forced and unearned without any of them showing up once all season. They'll be around eventually.

None of them were undermined because as what's already been stated ad nauseum, this was to showcase Wanda's power and anger when corrupted by the Darkhold. But if we do wanna go along with that:

She's the LAST one on that list who should gripe about being undermined. Wanda could've been done with her in the blink of an eye.

Also somewhere around Phase 4-5 it became trendy to hate the MCU, seemingly after No Way Home. Disney ittedly and understandably overcompensated for COVID and pushed out too much, too quick and quality took a hit. They've still had many quality movies and shows since then, but most people conveniently ignore those and say the MCU is washed without even seeing what they call flops because it gets them a seat at the cool kids table.
