Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? is a much better title that has real depth that the science fiction communtiy already loved and appreciated. They changed the name of the movie because it was so different from the book it's not even really considered an adaptation, It's an inspirationed story. The name Blade Runner didn't draw people to the movie. It was a huge box office flop. The name doesn't deserve any credited for the success it found as cult film and in all actually probably contributed to the films box office failure.
