What the F is this article? So much contradiction. Giving made-up reasons to worry and then giving counter reasons to not worry. I'm sorry but, potential Batman movie overlap isn't a reason to worry about The Batman Part 3 being cancelled. There have been so many Batman actors. Movies with a new actor still get greenlit and are successful. The fact of the matter is, nothing "worrying" has been said by anyone official. So there's no real reason to worry.

Also, 22 months isn't "a few years" away. October 2026 is less than 2 years away.

This article is kinda hypocritical. You acknowledge that a reveal of an Xbox Handheld would cause alot of excitement, but yet you still call it dead on arrival?

Most gamers prefer to play games locally (not stream them). That's why the Steam Deck is so popular with PC gamers. That's why so many were disappointed with the PS Portal... Would the Switch be as popular if it could only stream the games from Nintendo servers?

Edit: forgot to mention that xbox cloud gaming costing $20/month is a reason why a local-play Xbox Handheld makes perfect sense.

There is no such thing as "late" for an Xbox Handheld. Sure, there were some great release windows that have ed, but it's not like there's a lot of local-play handheld devices right now that aren't just PCs (it's only Deck & Switch). There is no current way to play an Xbox library while on the go.
