It really depends on the story that makes any character worthy of reading. Make them too strong without a good villain and the story is a mary jane with no crisp no taste just bland crap. Batmans last movie was like that. Horrible and boring. But if done right and this is just my opinion you make Wonder Woman come to life with Superman as her future husband. You give both characters depth and something with waiting for. A dance that takes on far more. The life of Lois lane and Clark kent needs this as well. We have all seen our loved ones lose loved ones. That other half that makes them work for a bit. Then they love again and you see them come back to life. To breathe to exhale to live in another moment. So we have our pie and we eat it too. A great story has depth and meaning and something we can feel and taste. So it is not about how strong but how strong of character they have. I whispered to the darkness of space and the darkness shouted back... Come out if you dare....
