If anything, I think they should have done a prequel. Henry is the commissioner, Frank is a detective and the kids are all in varying degrees of childhood. We’d get to meet Henry and Frank’s wives and Joe as well. Just a thought.

I would have preferred a prequel. When Frank was a detective and the kids are all young. We’d get to meet Frank’s mom, his wife and even Joe Reagan, as well as all the other Reagan’s (although they would be their younger versions). I think that would have been interesting.
