Yeah it softens the betrayal a bit to see the newer shows pay tribute to Archer and Enterprise, but it still wasn't right to not give them their own finale. That decision definitely cheapened the show quite a bit.

Joel's death was hardly the most shocking moment in video game history. It was a plot device to move the story along, it wasn't that big of a deal. Sure it pissed off the snowflake fanboys of the game, but that was about it. Their reaction and death threats to the devs and the actors/actresses was the shocking part of the whole thing.

that Amazon and the WoT show creator don't care about source material. The shows creator is rewriting the books according to the way he wants them to be. Amazon has done the same with LOTR material on that show as well. It's about making the shows representative what they thing it should be whether it be changing a stories, the characters, or the world itself.

The biggest issue I see is that The Forgotten Realms although having a huge amount of source material is going to be very hard to create for that very reason. The source material is very well known and loved so if they deviate much from it, the fans will know and will be very critical of the show. I truly hope they can succeed in making this show successful as we need more live action D&D as well as animated D&D.

Completely agree that they need to get the Two Rivers battle right. The biggest issue I've had with the show so far is that there are so many characters that none of them really get time to shine that much. The books are wonderful because they take the time to explore the characters and allow each to really have their moments. Unfortunately the show isn't really able to do that since they only have a limited number of episodes each season so much of the magic is lost.

The DLC was supposed to add 10-15 hours of content. They could have charged $20 for it and they would have sold 20 million copies easily. Such a waste to leave all that money on the table WB.

I most of these books and the series they created. Of course bring 54 many were from my childhood and college years. It's funny how the classic books get forgotten and replaced by young adult dribble that are all carbon copies of each other in their plots.

The Inner Light was a great episode. It was fun to see Picard play something a little different from the usual holodeck characters. The music in the episode was memorable and still invokes the same joy and sadness when you hear it today.

At the end of the day we know they'll ruin the source material and do whatever they think is best and will make them the most money. It's not about the books, it's how much can we exploit the name and still make money.

I watching the original Dune as a 14 yr old and I really liked it. I'd already read the first 2 books and it was a good movie for the time. Did it have its problems? Sure, but every movie has issues. I just sat back and enjoyed it without critiquing it.

Blame also falls on Yoda as he refused to help Anakin when he came to Yoda worried about his dreams. Yoda told him to ignore the dreams and do better.

When Ahsoka came to Yoda about her dreams, Yoda helped her to work though and understand her dreams which helped her.

If Yoda had some the same for Anakin, it could have made a huge difference in how things went

Same with Sliders. After 5 seasons, we never got a conclusion to their journey. It ended on them going through a wormhole and we never found out if it was the one that sent them home. We wrote SyFy thousands of letter asking them for one more season, or even a half season to wrap up all the loose threads and they never did.

It's unfortunate that Ronda grew to dislike the industry and it's fans so much since she also represented the legacy of Rowdy Roddy Piper and his family who gave her their blessing to wear his stuff as part of her character.

Networks cancel 90% of shows after one season so it's not surprising that it was cancelled. If you look at all the shows for the last 20 years, 80% of the ones that saw a season two and beyond were reality shows that are much cheaper to film. And even then most of those were cancelled after just a few seasons so the networks could try something new.

Sorry to tell you, but the DLC is actually something most players are looking forward to. The sequel is still at least a year or two away if they don't delay it which is something that is happening more and more often with games. Just because you guys don't think it's worth it doesn't mean the rest of us think that. Please get outside more and stop being so negative as it'll help you live a longer happier life overall. Also please stop spreading misinformation about what JK Rowlings actually said as it's already been disproven several years ago.

Have to agree that Ahsoka is a prime example of how being trained by different people can benefit a Padawan by helping them see their strengths and weaknesses and addressing them accordingly. She developed a flexible mindset that served her well by helping her adjust to any given situation as results of having many masters teaching her at different times.

The game is dead as far as Rockstar is concerned so the players need to let it go and move on or be content with what they have. Rockstar isn't going to work on it anymore, they made that very clear. GTA is their baby and is the only game they actually care about as it's still making them millions a month.
