See All10 Best Cosmic Horror Movies Ever Made
I someone did a review of Oculus once, and they said while it isn't Lovecraftian made, they considered it Lovecraftian in nature with the unknown mystery of the Lasser Glass Mirror, and how delving deeper into discovering the truth or proving it's existence will either destroy you or drive you mad, like what it dies to the siblings in that movie. Thoughts?
10 Best Cosmic Horror Movies Ever Made
I'm still wondering how The Lighthouse counts as "Cosmic Horror." Psychological maybe, but "Cosmic?" Why, because the poster features tentacles? From Beyond is more Cosmic Horror than The Lighthouse, or Underwater from 2020.
5 Popular Fantasy TV Shows That Aren't As Good As We
Speak for yourself. I still loved Angel, and Merlin. Never got into Charmed, but caught it a few times, and thought I should catch up. As for the last two, ShadowHunters was already built from the rocky start Mortal Instruments made when adapting the first book, so building a show after that was building a mountain with a mole hill. Shannara Chronicles, I don't know much about, but apparently the show didn't measure up to OG Terry Brooks book series, even if it did give Austin Butler his start.

Are you disappointed that Mike Flanagan's Haunting series on Netflix is over?
I would say yes. I was hoping after seeing these more modern takes on Hill House and Turn of the Screw, maybe Mike Flanagan could try adapting The Woman in Black. You know, like, The Haunting of Eel Marsh? I know that the Daniel Radcliffe movie came out in 2012, 12 years ago, but seeing it adapted with Flanagan's cast, and seeing them discussing the subjects of inner turmoil, depression, and grief with this story, particularly with the loss of children to a vengeful spirit, could've been another thrill ride to rival Hill House. But I understand and respect Mike's decision, given he has provided new awesome movies and shows since the first season of the Haunting; Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep, & House of Usher. He probably has several projects waiting to go or in the works. It's like a medium rare steak: you can't keep it on the burner too long, or else it either overcooks or burns away into nothing and is ruined.
Mike Flanagan Addresses Potential For More “The Haunting” Shows After Moving From Netflix To Prime Video
I'm hoping "The Haunting" will continue. I'd like to see Mike Flanagan give a modern day update to The Woman in Black story. No offense to the Daniel Radcliffe Hammer movie; I love that flick, but c'mon, The Haunting of Eel Marsh has a good ring, right?
