I am with Robert. I have no interest in any of his projects unless and until he finishes the Song of ice and fire series. I would go one step further and say that instead of this series being one of the greatest fantasy series of all time it won’t even make the list. It is the same thing as if Tolkein had never finished The return of the king. The whole series basically becomes worthless without an ending. If more people would shun his stupid side projects and talk about the fact that Martin’s signature series won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on if he doesn’t finish the last two books, maybe he would get focused and get off his ass and get it done. There’s no excuse for failing to see a project through to completion when you have the time, the means and millions of people relying on you to get it done.
