I have read 95% of everything that Bernard Cornwell has written. The Warlord Trilogy is one of my favourite series of all time. The TV show was an utter abomination. Not a single thing about it reflected the books. I am sure given a chance they would not have even called Arthur, Arthur. It literally had nothing to do with the series whatsoever other than vaguely following some of the less interesting plot points. If it turned out to be a deliberate tax write-off show I would genuinely believe it. If you want to really experience this story then buy the audiobooks or read the books themselves.
