You missed part of the line: "Allow me to introduce myself - I am a CL4P-TP steward bot, but my friends call me Claptrap! Or they would, if any of them were still alive, or had existed in the first place!"

Might want to check yours; they're called carbon monoxide (that's CO, not CO2 as you said, which is carbon dioxide) detectors. Beyond that point, it seems a bit trivial whether you who you played or not-- it's an opinion column about how they felt a game was forgettable. She and Link possess pieces of the Triforce; Zelda has the Triforce of Wisdom, and (more importantly here) Link possesses that of Courage. I.e., the *courage* to journey out on an unknown adventure fraught with danger, with little to no training or equipment, to overcome insurmountable odds.
The wise, on the other hand, would look at everything stacked against them and consider it a lost cause, choosing not to risk their own safety and life over it. Doesn't make for good adventure stories.
