The ftc just doesn't understand how genshin works, you can easily play the game for free if you don't pull on every banner. Also the rates are literally listed, if you just read, you can see the rates for every banner. It's not deceptive at all imo. Just boomers not understanding how the rates work.

It WOULD make role que unnecessary if most people followed what the pros do. I rarely play duelist, only vanguard and strategist, unfortunately the game is full of children who don't follow the same rules. Older and smarter players will fill, knowing that if they don't, it's usually a loss. Most of the demographic of the game is much younger who don't understand how to play these games and win, they just to "carry" in a team game and end up doing the opposite most of the time.
