I’m a big Tolkein fan and love Peter Jackson’s adaptions but when I saw this was coming out I was skeptical. I knew she was a minor character and thought this could potentially be a “girl power” money grab. I watched it with low expectations and I actually kinda loved it, I’m so glad they were able to pull music and art from Jackson’s LOTR, the Castlevania style animation wasn’t my favorite choice but it wasn’t terrible, the tone felt very Tolkein and I was overall pleasantly surprised. 7.5/10
