See AllThe CW Made Some Surprisingly Good Fantasy TV Shows, And These 5 Are Easily The Best
There are a total of 6 GREAT seasons for both TVD and Supernatural and the production value for all 6 TVD seasons blows so many other higher budget show away. Shame TVD went the Heretics and Siren route to make up for the missing Elena tension - they would have been better off exploring another year of college (lots of potential story lines there) and bringing back Kai sooner to avoid monster of the moment duds (where Legacies also faltered). Still, some of the most fun in 45 minute episodes come from TVD with Season 6 Episode 16 being close to perfection.
The Electric State Review: I Think The Russos’ New Netflix Blockbuster Might Actually Be Harmful To Movies
The one thing I kept asking myself during the movie was, "Who is the target audience?" Conceptually, it had the potential for a twisted, fun adult (R-rated) version. But the story was so basic in its telling, with a mostly failed attempt to be heartwarming, that I kept thinking maybe it’s aimed at 10 to 13-year-olds. If that’s the case, why bog it down with "being a dick" comments, middle fingers (the same joke could have worked with characters sticking out their tongues), and references to "8 inches"? Plus, there was too much death and violence for a younger audience and not enough substance for an older one. So disappointing! I surprisingly found myself yearning for Transformers-level cringe when the dialogue only landed about half the time.
You know a movie has problems when you're still thinking, "This has potential," 50 minutes in. People have commented on Millie Bobby Brown’s age and how she looks older now (because she is) — she looks great (reminds me of Alyssa Milano), but every bit a 20+ year old, which throws the balance off even more.
By the second half, I was working on my laptop because it didn’t really demand much attention. And when it ended, I just kept wondering — who exactly is this for?
Have you enjoyed Lioness season 2?
The season was definitely riveting. I wasn't as big a fan of Josephina's character (vs Cruz) but everything about the show kept me on the edge of my seat. Having lived a similar experience I will tell you that the only thing they go a little bit overboard is with the animosity between the different groups. They're definitely is a lot of showmanship when you run a t mission with assets of various backgrounds and past relationships, however as it is depicted in the show they all are working towards the same mission and those things that divide them often aren't as prevalent in daily conversations. And if for a moment you thought they would never do such deep interrogation against someone they believe to be a rat, let me tell you, that just scratched the surface of how far they will go when no one's watching.
The show was amazing Zoe and cast did an outstanding job keeping it wild! I just wish the episodes were longer and they go back to the 13 episode half seasons like back in the old TV days.. I want more 😆
