Overall I liked the Sheldon character on TBBT....although I do cringe hearing a 40 yr old man refer to his mother as "mommy" but, I couldn't stand Young Sheldon ..it wasn't consistent with the established character as an adult.
The Conners Season 7 Isn't Just Ending The Show, But 36 Years Of Roseanne - And I've No Idea How It Can Pull That Off
The show started going downhill with the last couple of seasons of Roseanne......and has just continued it's slide into oblivion.... don't know why they even bothered with the reboot. Won't even be missed.

I'm More Furious At Young Sheldon's Cancelation After Missy Actor's Ending Comment
Never thought of the Sheldon character in Young Sheldon as the same character from the Big Bang Theory....there was no resemblance at all. How did Sheldon have more of an understanding of adult relationships as a child than he did as an adult? Annie Potts meemaw was also a completely different character (and no, the ending didn't explain that much of a personality change). It was just annoying, won't miss it at all. Hopefully they'll put a better show in that time slot.
