I read the book first and saw the movie later. I loved the book as I do most of King's work. I liked the movie, but for me the movie didn't have that fear factor that the book did. King has a way of scary the hell out of his readers and it's hard to transfer that to film. I give the movie 3 stars out of 5. It's worth a look.
