It reminds me of the struggle between Michael the Archangel and Lucifer for the body of Moses. Both are very powerful but Michael invokes the LORDS power and states " The LORD REBUKE you" . While seemingly benign it invokes the mighty power of GOD.

In the books early Gholas had mechanical eyes. So if Desmond Hart is a Ghola that is a big departure from the Cannon established in the original Dune universe. this is supposed to be 10000 years before the time of Paul. Technology is less refined. I understand creative license but you still have to follow some rules or you loose the story.

I have read all the books by Frank Herbert and all his son wrote. I don't recall in those books Arrakis / Dune being that well known in the imperium nor the religion of the Fremen being very widespread until the Jihad of Paul Artredies . This show while entertaining is far from cannon and as such a disappointment to a true Dune fan.

These stories is more of a reflection of the Sorceresses of Roosark than the Bene Gesserit

Elrond grandson through Aragon and Arwen would be the reconciliation of the two blood lines. While Aragon would genetically be very diluted it still would hold some of the genes of Elros while Arwen would of course have half of Elrond genetic combination.

In human genetics the science states any genetic group that can reproduce with viable offspring that can reproduce are of the same species. So if Maiar , elves and humans can obviously do this then we are all variants of the same species.

It strange how there is no record of human and dwarves or human and Hobbits. Or for that matter the other humanistic groups. There is some speculation about humans and orcs.
