I have to disagree on Acolyte deserving more episodes, I found it to be exceptionally weak overall. I did love The Stranger, though. He was the one thing I consistently enjoyed.

To quote Internet sources regarding Pyro:

"Yes, in the X-Men universe, Pyro, a mutant with fire manipulation powers, is able to absorb fire, essentially taking heat energy from other sources of flame and adding it to his own power reservoir; this is often depicted as a way for him to increase his own fire abilities by taking fire from others."

Yeah... He would easily defeat The Human Torch unless Johnny managed to catch him completely by surprise.
