Last season (season 1) was really corny and cheeseball for the most part. Ncuti was a bit over the top nearly all season, save for a few episodes, especially ones centered around the church.

This season opener was much better, Ncuti is a little too cheesy still, but I'm hoping the pragmatic, no nonsense approach of his new Belinda? Sidekick, or companion.... Hopefully that will balance things out at least a tad.

I've been a big fan since Tom baker years, and Sylvester Mcoy and Sophie Aldred... and the 2005 reunion was fun, and creepy, and welcome. I don't like Dr who much right now, but yep, I'll keep watching
