I think the real problem was that there was no base material to go off of for s7 and s8, they basically just made it up. I think a lot of people felt like it was rushed too. Season 6 is where the actual book material ends so it's really not the same at all and you can see it if you watch it beginning to end. I think they could of done a lot better for the last two seasons. I get it art is subjective but they should of at least taken more time to make the last two seasons imo. Could of been executed a lot better and I think a lot of the fans agree on that, if they don't well I'm wrong but I maintain that it could of been done better in my own opinion 👍
