While I haven't yet seen it i view Disney as a combative, political tyranny. It's definitely not the company my cousin created. These people are simply using the name. Kind of like how other tyrannical leaders stole religious symbols and, used them for systemic hate.

I think a lot of people are missing information vital to why Luke's character was, what it was. Sure we can break it down simply by saying this person failed, that person got it right but, far to often we miss the fact of context. How was Luke's world different from this new one now? The 80s was about fighting for the goodness in others, never giving up to each other. Don't try, you either do or don't do. Wax on, wax off. This new generation's world isn't like that at all. So characters are all learning differently. Different outcomes to situations and how they are handled.

While I haven't read it, or the whole story people say a blue collar Bat is, more relatable character. You see though, the whole premise of a rich kid, getting His hands dirty was meant to evoke the idea that You should shoot for the stars and be more than what everyone thinks you are or should be.

While I like a blue collar Bat, I like the idea of shooting for becoming like a white collar Bruce Wayne because to me it's what a white collar person should do is fight injustices.
