See AllEight Years After The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson Gives Disappointing Update On His Star Wars Future
Rian Johnson derailed what could have been a really great third trilogy in Star Wars. He chose to ignore that he was supposed to serve an ongoing story line, and instead decided to just go and do his own thing. What he did with the character of Luke Skywalker was just criminal. He also left the makers of Episode #9 with little to work with, forcing JJ Abrams to basically try to clean up his mess. I wish Kathleen Kennedy had held as tight a rein on Johnson as she did with the directors of the Han Solo movie and Rogue One, who on both movies she replaced. The Force Awakens breathed new life into the Star Wars franchise. Then Rian Johnson put a plastic bag over its head.
12 Movies From The 1970s That Have Aged Liked A Fine Wine
There are so many others -- "Dirty Harry", "Superman", "Saturday Night Fever", "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", etc.
Star Wars Officially Begins Its Return of The Jedi Sequel, And It's Exactly What Fans Hoped For
I always thought George Lucas should have keep moving forward after RETURN OF THE JEDI, with more adventures for Luke Skywalker. Going back and doing the prequels was a mistake. I couldn't care less how Anakin became Darth Vader. I wish Disney would follow suit and produce a new trilogy with a new actor playing Luke.
Cobra Kai Ends Chozen & Kumiko's Story In A Disappointing Way
I have been waiting with bated breath for Chozen and Kumiko to hook up since Season 3. The revelation that Kumiko may already have a new man in her life is a HUGE letdown. All through the series, Chozen has been made to appear clownish, which I abhor. He is a man who was able to defeat the demons of his youth and came out of it a thoughtful, comionate, better man. Chozen deserves respect. The idea that he has to sleep on a couch in Daniel's house, instead of having his own bed in a guest room, is outrageous. I am sincerely hoping the "Towel Man" was actually a visiting cousin of Kumiko's, not her new lover. The series is so played out as it is. How many more fight scenes do we need? Season 5 should have ended the series with Terry Silver and John Kreese sharing a jail cell, and Chozen with Kumiko at the altar exchanging their wedding vows.
