The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Well I guess the fact that viewing numbers are so low ( about half the first season) and predictions are that the series will be canceled at the end of season 2 speaks volumes.
On the topic of barrow weights, this article is both incorrect in its assumptions and the fact that Tolkien did give background to them. The barrows are from the Numinorean Kingdom of Arnor and the weights were created by the Witch King of Angmar during his wars in the North that lead too the downfall of the Kingdom and the rise of the Rangers of which Aragorn was one. This happened in the Third Age! Just as the arrival of the Israri happened in the Third Age. PLEASE quit changing the story! If there are holes in the story, fine fill in the gaps but the fact is, Tolkien left very few holes in the story - which is what makes it the greatest fantasy story of all time.

The Rings Of Power's Dark Wizard Reveal Doesn't Rule Out Another Lord Of The Rings Cameo Later On
Showing Saruman in Rhun doesn't break Canon, however showing Saruman (and Gzndalf for that matter) in Middle Earth in the second age definitely breaks canon! It also messes with Saruman and Gandalfs relationship as Gandalf received his ring Narya upon his arrival in middle earth which made Saruman more jealous and led to his eventual turn to evil.
The Rings Of Power's Galadriel Romance Is Nothing Compared To This Controversial The Lord Of The Rings Kiss
Ungoliant is NOT a Maire. She is from the abyss. She mated with other spiders not another Maire. If you are going to write an article do a little research! This is not hard to find information. And Galadriel and Sauron is just ridicules. Elves bond for life and she 8s already married and will have a daughter with Celeborn who will become Elronds wife!
The Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim Copies The Rings Of Power's Controversial Galadriel Romance, But Won't Get Anywhere Near As Much Backlash
Elves only marry once and mate for life. Galadriel was married to Celebor and would not have been interested in Sauron/Halbrand. I understand the need to make small adjustments to Canon in order to make a hood show but this is completely against what Tolkien intended. Not to mention that Halbrand was human which would have further distanced Galadriel.
Why The Rings Of Power For Elves & Dwarves Don't Turn The Wearer Invisible
Please require your article authors to actually research the books! The 9 rings prolonged the wearers lives so long that they became "stretched" and were no longer visible in the world. They did not grant the wearer invisibility but granted them unnaturally long lives which men craved on their jealousy of the elves. Even the 1 ring did not grant the wearer invisibly but instead strengthen the wearers strongest attribute, thus halfings were very proficient on staying unseen, so invisibility. Isidure was not granted invisibility. Likewise the dwarves became more greedy and stubborn. The elven rings granted them power over nature and time, effectively freezing their in their 1st/2nd age states as seen in both Lothlorien and Rivendale, where even seemed to differently. Also, the rings were not forged specifically men and dwarfs but Suaron distributed the as he desired "after" capturing them during the fall of Eregion.
