5 Nosferatu Details About Bill Skarsgård's Count Orlok Appearance That Make Him Even Scarier
The original 1922 movie is an absolute classic that people still talk about, watch and enjoy over a century later. Those who criticize this reimagining of the original seem to have been hoping for a carbon copy with modern day technological upgrades. Eggers wanted to put his own spin on Nosferatu, not make the same movie all over again. People should try to enjoy this film independent of the original. I doubt we'd have so many of these haters if there had never been a Nosferatu movie before this one, and it was just a new vampire movie. If all you're interested in is the original, than just stick with that one. There would've been no purpose for Eggers' film if he was just going to stay completely faithful to the original, other than to make money. I just don't understand why anyone would watch this version if all they wanted was the same 1922 film all over again.

No show had a main character who so badly wanted to be accepted by the upper class as Hyacinth.
