I've Played 600 Hours Of Pokémon, & Legends Z-A May Be The First I Skip
Damn, the ragebait is already here, huh? 600 hours isn't an argument, buddy. I have more than 300 in emerald ALONE. Also you really mean to tell me that the first game that they publically make an effort to increase development time for, and the greatest departure and innovation since the START OF THE SERIES, is something that you're instantly gonna try to reject? And something you can convince other people "Oh this is the death of the series"? Damn, you're full of something. Pure nonsense, perhaps?
Flash's New Power Makes Him 1000x Stronger Than the Whole Justice League Combined... Seriously
Aren't speedsters already too strong? To the point of forcing bad writing to give them any weaknesses? What the hell are the writers doing? If nobody is gonna make the effort to write speedster stories well, the genre needs to die.
Pokémon Has Tricked Me 3 Times In A Row, But I Won’t Let Legends: Z-A Get Me Again
The problem isn't that he criticized the graphics (they are pretty rough.) The problem is that he seems to put looks over actual depth and innovation. Apparently even finding sword and shield acceptable just because it was "an acceptable starting point for modern rendering??" That's not the point of the game??
Pokémon Has Tricked Me 3 Times In A Row, But I Won’t Let Legends: Z-A Get Me Again
Wait a minute: you bought SWORD AND SHIELD (creative bankruptcy and broken promises in game form) found it to be acceptable, but THIS game (the game that's literally shaking up the core formula of the series more than any other has) is the game you're skipping?? That's TERRIBLY ironic.
This is why I can't take game critics seriously. I know that polish is important, but if you're unfortunately too rushed to have both polish and innovation, then innovation is more important. And you don't seem to understand that.
With how much ZA is shaking up the concept of pokémon battling (arguably the biggest focus of the series, behind the creatures themselves) it might be the most important game in the series. They're literally giving us battles like we see them in the anime: real time strategy, making moves more dynamic, actually commanding your pokémon to dodge, etc.
But no, you prefer SWSH, apparently?
God, if bad taste was an article, this would be it.
Congratulations, you made an article so ridiculous that it convinced me to make an just so I could roast you.
