I really don't think it would be a competition if both shows were revived around the same time. I believe both would be watched around the same amount, maybe Buffy a bit more since it has been so long, but I think they'd be pretty evenly matched. They both have a pretty dedicated fan base & we'd be excited to get new episodes of both.

I'm a fan of both & would watch each series regularly if rebooted. Supernatural is my absolute favorite show of all time. I mean, Dean & Castiel? Who wouldn't love that duo? Plus, you get a lot of demon & cryptid lore that is actually correct. The only problem I ever had with SPN was when they'd get rid of amazing females that deserved more time than they got.

As for Buffy, well, I'm pretty sure she was my 1st female crush & she showed that women could absolutely crush being a badass in a lead role. Sarah Michelle Gellar was an icon & she empowered girls everywhere to have confidence & go after what they wanted, no matter how many monsters you had to battle to get there. And Angel? That man was made in the image of a Greek god!

All in all, both shows were awesome & I don't believe either would have any trouble if aired together.

I absolutely LOVE this show! I feel like the characters are growing as people & a few are actually trying to become better, even if it is in the afterlife. It's so hard for me to find shows I like, but this one is definitely in my top 5. I tried watching the UK version between seasons, but I really couldn't get into it.
