I don't think it prevents a second origin story at all. Does depend on future seasons of RoP but say Gandalf hangs about for three more series, perhaps in the East but whatever out the way. He then returns to the West for a longish time. That means when he returns with Saruman and Radagast in the third age as far as the Elves etc are concerned he just arrived.
