Taylor Sheridan does some outstanding work but he does have a habit of pushing things too far, and doing tragedies that compound upon each other to the point where it becomes difficult to watch. I had that experience with Mayor of Kingstown in the third season, and just stopped watching it, as it was tiresome and highly manipulative.

Sheridan needs to figure out a way to tone things down just a little bit. Life is tragic but often it's not quite the melodrama he makes it out to be.

Wind River and Hell and High water were absolutely outstanding, standout films. So was the first Sicario. The others were okay, but nothing special.

TV is where Sheridan really seems to excel. 1883, Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Landman and Lioness. All great shows.
