I like the theory presented in this article. Based off a couple minor hints at the last Shallan scene, I believe her to be pregnant. I think this is one of her main reasons why she appears to be so strongly motivated to return home. If she is, I doubt that she would risk getting too far outside the time bubble's affects in Shadesmare. She might need to go find a good midwife in Silverlight Academy, maybe do some studies there for a bit, but then get back to Roshar asap.
