We will have to agree to disagree on everything here. People often interpret Eddie as gay because of his actions around his previous relationships vs w/ Buck. He says he feels like “he has to perform” for women on dates and when spending time with gfs and the concept of bringing someone into Chris’s life as a “ready-made family” is so daunting to him that he has a panic attack, meanwhile Buck is already a guardian for Chris that is on the list to be able to pick him up from school and will be his parent in the event of Eddies untimely exit. I’m not saying he must be gay or that it wouldn’t be weird if it was a sudden change. It would have to be something that he works through over the course of a season or more, but to quote Maddie “it wouldn’t be that crazy.” Also as far as Cap Chimney, having a sense of humor doesn’t usually disqualify people from leadership positions if we’re going for realism here :/
