See All“It Was Terrible”: Star Trek: Picard Showrunner Explains Why Original Cast Wasn’t In Season 3
Not sure how the s1/s2 would have fitted in....at end of S2 Jurati was queen of the nice borg, Santiago was dead in the 21st century and isa briones character had run off to Wesley Crusher. Possibly Isa Briones robot could have been about and the romulan warrior nun but not sure why you'd bother. Never thought romulan warrior nun could be boring but somehow the current Trek runners managed it.....
Strange New Worlds Sets Up Another Member Of Kirk’s Classic Star Trek Enterprise Crew
The trailer looks fun but SNW is in danger of becoming a spoof of the thing it purports to be. Is it the Trek equivalent of Roger Moore era James Bond.....?

Absolutely agree
24 Years After Voyager's Finale, It Feels Like Star Trek Has Given Up On New Generations
I for one am fed up of the constant rehashing of the same old characters and ships. Its time for a new ship with new characters and new adventures. SNW is good but a prequel and has turned Spock into a socially awkward figure to be the butt of a joke. Better to leave the old characters and bolfly go forward. Unfortunately ST:D jumping into the far future has made everything a prequel. The first thing to do is to make ST:D a separate timeline do it can be abandoned and we can carry on with new stories. Currently we know the next 1000 years after TNG so there can be no tension as we know how the Federation survives....
Strange New Worlds' Success Proves Star Trek Needs A TNG Prequel Show
Please NO MORE PREQUELS. Just stop rehashing old shows and make a new show with new characters and new adventures. It's "to boldly go where no one has gone before" NOT "to lamely keep revisiting the same old characters again and again"
