Amanda The whole reason the books were written was for religion. They aren't religious undertones, Narnia is literally metaphor for the Bible. Aslan even says he's God.

The problem with RTD is, as he said at a convention last year, inserting his political ideologies is more important than the story. And the BBC is letting him get away with it, instead of doing what they did in 2005, which was forcing him to put the story first.

As much as I don't like saying this, Disney isn't the problem RTD is. Disney has no creative say in what happens in the show, but unfortunately at a convention last year RTD said that inserting his political ideologies is more important than the story. And yes Doctor Who has always been political, but the story came first.

Everyone I know, both Democrat and Republican, thought the Acolyte was bad. Politics may have been a very small part of it's downfall, but the show was worse than the sequel trilogy and literally ignored decades of pre established lore.

A big part of Daredevil is that he's a lawyer, which got over shadowed in the second half of season 2 and barely mentioned in season 3. So they're showing that part of the character more, like in season 1.

If you're referring to The Batman with Robert Patterson, that movie was made before James Gunn took over. Also that movie was meant to show the more detective side of Batman which tends to be left out of the movies.
