2 Years After BBC's Sherlock Premiered, The Better Version Of The Show Was Released
Uhhhh hmmm......
Not even close! I can see Elementary having more episodes and more seasons and more story arcs due this.... it's not even more notable actors or lager budgets on sfx!
Your comparisons arr laughable and hardly an argument for the article.....
Sherlock help push Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman in to international stardom with its show. Granted Benedict had notoriety from Dr. Who and this only propelled him to a level of working with Marvel/Disney in a way unlike Lucy Liu or Jonney Lee Miller..... and I am incredibly fond of both other work.... but you clearly either missed the key difference of the shows not even being close to the same or you just hate or are incredibly biased against Brittish television.... which isn't bad.
But this is just a poor excuse of a contrast article
With Nintendo Switch 2 On The Horizon, Abandoning The Virtual Console Isn’t The Switch’s Only Failure
I don't really care what Nintendo does on the Switch²..... except for the love of God give us a way to filter out all the dang dating Sims and graphical themes (background, icons) would be excellent!!!
I have had lots of fun and a few frustrating times with the switch. Let's hope the jump in tech makes the ports come over smoother & that it helps the games that struggle with the OG switch
With Nintendo Switch 2 On The Horizon, Abandoning The Virtual Console Isn’t The Switch’s Only Failure
Apparently the only games that won't be backwards compatible will be most of the labo and the fitness band games....
So far it seems everything else is safe and making it over.... not for certain, but thats the way it seems
Furiosa’s Box Office Flop Means Mad Max Must Bring Back A Forgotten 1990s Project That Could Save The Franchise
The only way a Max TV show would work is if they could get Tom Hardy to do it to bridge the gap left by Mel Gibson.
Unless we are bringing a 3rd Mad Max actor in to the story arc.... or Following Furiosa and her peoples story arc
(Keep in mind I haven't seen the latest installment)
And honetly... even with Mel being elderly, he could easily be an Older Mad Max with a mix of flashbacks while retiring Mel's role Officially
That's what would break the slump!!!
George, can we make it happen?
Steven Moffat Addresses Sherlock Season 5 Chances Following Producer's Comments: "Madness Not To Do It"
I really hope they do. Abominable Bride was a short stop it seemed to a season 5 that hasn't happened yet. But with all that Mr. Cumberbatch has had going on with Dr Strange.... I'm sure it's difficult for him to have even personal time let alone ion projects
Steven Moffat Addresses Sherlock Season 5 Chances Following Producer's Comments: "Madness Not To Do It"
That's not too far out of the realm of possibilities. He is pretty down to earth and showed the character and show a lot of love while they were still making them. The only other issue might actually be if he has an exclusivity contract with Disney/Marvel for contracted work that in process or in production.
The Legend Of Zelda Might Repeat a Pointless 22-Year-Old Controversy On Switch 2
Despite being completely wrong about BotW.... it launched on Wii-U not switch.... it was a launch title and sort of a remake all in one.
I think for the time WW was their way of bringing the art style of Links Awakening to the home console in 3d environments. It was a really great game when it was released, and people grew to love it. It has since gained quite the bit of notoriety over time. The first mainline brand new Zelda game we gotten since the Wii-U was Tears of the Kingdom. Time will tell if it outshines the so far Zelda releases on the Switch.
The next switch is gonna be more substantial of a leap for Nintendo hardware. Probably the greatest leap of hardware since moving on from the N64 to the GC. Regardless of what the Zelda team gives us, I'm sure it's gonna be good.
Not like they can do worse than Links Crossbow training!
“The Last… We Will See In Our Lifetime”: Guillermo del Toro Explains What Makes Hellboy 2 So Special Looking Back 16 Years Later
Trevor Below is the box office income from all 3 movies. The top 2 are the Del Toro/ Perlman movies..... the bottom one is the 'reboot'
In a business that is usually based on sales stats and performance..... it basically tells the story of the way it should be done.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army $75,986,503
2 Hellboy $59,623,958
3 Hellboy $21,903,748
Also..... just in example.... currently there are like 4 different Batman universes in works. All of them taking up the same level of awareness to fans, granted not everyone likes what's being done. But they all coexist. So there isn't much reason why both Hellboy series' can't coexist concurrently.
“The Last… We Will See In Our Lifetime”: Guillermo del Toro Explains What Makes Hellboy 2 So Special Looking Back 16 Years Later
How about not crying about it Guillermo.... give us the Hellboy III we didn't get! There's enough people that already said they'd do it, So do it!!!
Loved both movies the new one misses the mark
10 Comic Book Movies That Deserve A Remake
The Spirit - honestly probably should have been broken in half in to 2 different movies
MOTU has a movie in production.... hopefully it's going to lean harder to fanservice than that atrocity they gave us.
Watchmen - NOPE.... your attention span is the problem, not the movie
Dick Tracy - remaster, sure.... remake? Nobody will top it... the performances and the characters were captured as best as they ever will be.... on a level with Brandon Lee being the Crow!!!
Swamp Thing - yes, desperately. I'd love to see Wes Craven have a 2nd shot at it on the same script and today's tech/sfx!!!
Spawn - It's already being worked on..... script is pretty much done and shopping for cast as far as I know
From Hell - meh.... possibly
#3 Dark Phoenix - MCU sold Jean Grey short on every film... even Fox offerings never really had her the focus.... it would be nice to get a REAL Jean Grey story as you said....
The Phantom . . . . Sure.... but the OG is campy but good. There isn't much to improve on, unless they plan on sticking closely to the source material and maybe make it a series of movies closer following the comic series in a more modern time.
Dark Man .... No way, this dark depiction of Darkman is awesome.... the sequel sucked balls!!! How about we meet in the middle and just ask for a well crafted remaster to 4k (if the film even exists any more) to get better details and clarity visually speaking. Always loved this movie.... it always upset me the sequels didn't stand up to the origional.... but hey, it was the 80s and sequins weren't that often close to being as good as the original movies.
Christopher Nolan Fallout With Warner Bros May Have Led To Joker 2's Heath Ledger-Referencing Ending
I can totally see that about TDK series. Christopher Nolan made a huge pile of money for the WB and DC.... so much so and so well that there was a batman game in the process of being released (Arkham series) that they borrowed quite a bit of the looks and such....
There never has been such a time where DC made so much off that IP.....
So I can totally see him being able to flex some direction on other adjunct projects.
Also... Heath Ledger died during editing.... so with that.... I am sure it was more about preserving Heaths joke as HIS.... just the same nobody is ever gonna play joker like Jack Nicholson.... got help us we get another suicide squad story with that joker.... but you see... all of them are different in their own rights.
Just the same with Joaquin Phoenixs' Joker.....
What did you expect Caesar Romero performance?
