As I was reading this article it occurred to me that most, if not all, of these justifiable criticisms were addressed much more properly in Kevin Costner’s version of this story, ‘Wyatt Earp’. That movie certainly has its own flaws, but overall I think it’s a much better and more historically accurate look into the life of Wyatt and the people involved in his life. If you’re a fan of ‘Tombstone’ and you haven’t seen ‘Wyatt Earp’, do yourself the favor.
