I thoroughly enjoyed Nosferatu. I've watched Eggers other films as well and this is my favorite. In my opinion, Nosferatu has the best story line of them all as well as the beauty of the gothic scenery in the film. The acting is superb as well.
I love the show and it's very watchable. You need complex characters in the plot to have a good storyline. Like the article said, they all have flaws. I don't love Shauna but I don't hate her either. If I was in her shoes I'd be pretty unstable too.
