Well I mean it'd not but I agree with the sentiment.

The definition of evil is to desire the worse for another.

The definition of good is to desire the best for another.

Yea no. The Light Side is good and the Dark Side is evil. That was the original intent when George wrote them and it is apparent in all the earliest releases. Some later works, especially those past Goerge's selling it to Disney, try to make the Dark Side out as good or misunderstood or the Light as evil or worse the Dark, but this is nonesense.

The Light Side of the force is the natural balanced state of the Force as a while. It has I believe four different forms but the two main ones are the cosmic and the living force. The cosmic force is what happens to folks when they die and the living force permeates life during its time. The living force is the primary aspect of the force that is wielded by Jedi or Sith.

Things live and die naturally within the perfectly balanced Force, that is to say if there is no Dark Side. Yes, things still die and the galaxy goes on as the mortal plane expects it to. Yoda points this out as the way of things on his own deathbed. The Jedi don't shun death they accept it as a natural part of life.

The Dark Side is neither of these. The Dark Side is what the force becomes when a force , such as a Sith Lord or witch or other ("Sith"), utilizes the power of the force for evil purposes. The Jedi use the force as an ally to accomplish its will. Sith use the force to cheat death, destroy innocents, steal, and utterly dominate others. Jedi use the force to help and serve others.

The Force can be seen much like Strength, it's good and right purpose is to help others while many will use it to control others. The latter is evil and should not be done. A balanced world would see a world of willful service one to another in harmony. This is balance in the force, no Dark Side, only a perfect balanced Light that serves all.
