You actually need them for quests sometimes but they are also not that easy to come by In my experience. I won't be able to unlock Aladin or Alice any time soon. I simply won't have the dreamlight to do so. By time I can get Aladin, they will probably come out with someone new.

Their opinion is completely valid and their experiences with a game THEY paid money for. Someone can like a game but still have issues with it. The logic of 'play the game or don't' just because someone has a complaint about a game they enjoy, is such a toddler level of logic.
