See All90 Minutes Of Silent Hill 2 Gameplay Prove The Remake Was A Big Mistake
I'm not going to lie, I laughed a lot reading this article.
"Silent Hill 2 Remake lacks the challenge factor that the original had", "Silent Hill 2 Remake forgets what made the original so special".
People, don't be fooled by these guys, because clearly whoever wrote this hasn't even touched the original game to begin with. He's writing an article saying that the combat in the Remake seems easier, as if the original was hard in the first place.
No, the combat in the original Silent Hill 2 was a mess, and anyone who has even tried it can confirm that. Bullets and healing items WERE PLENTY throughout the game, you could literally have TOO many resources without any effort, as you would find them in your face and in completely random places. Let's not even talk about the enemies; the Mannequins, for example, were killed with two simple hits and a stomp. The enemies never fought back, they just stood there waiting for you to hit them, and I'm not even counting the "bosses" that were there.
I'm not even going to describe the fight against Eddie, because that would be saying too much, LOL.
And so I could spend HOURS writing about everything that was wrong with the gameplay of the original Silent Hill 2; but of course, now it turns out that SH 2 stands out for its... difficulty?
Oh, and clumsy doesn't mean "difficult", because combat can be clumsy and difficult at the same time.
